makes the impossible possible by effortlessly defying gravity.

Our Inspiration We started OM Audio in 2013 because we love making great personal audio hardware. After creating the award winning INEARPEACE headphones we wanted to do something different with OM/ONE. Our goal was to design a bluetooth speaker that is as iconic both in design and audio fidelity as our favorite artists and songs. We wanted to design something truly unique and magical. We hope that you’ll agree that OM/ONE meets these goals and more. Design OM/ONE makes the impossible possible by effortlessly defying gravity. It is elegant and meticulously engineered. We carefully considered every detail of OM/ONE to make it as beautiful as it is functional. OM/ONE belongs in any room on any surface. The OM/ONE orb is designed to fit comfortably in the palm of your hand and has build quality equal to the best products you already own. We hope that you will enjoy OM/ONE as much as we enjoyed developing it. OM/ONE is available in jet black, glacier white, and disco ball.

Let's hear your thoughts on this one. In the meantime, I'll be in the tub catching up on episodes of "Sherlock." (Yeah, I like long baths.)

The combination of a strong flexible arm and space-age adhesive make for one intriguing Kickstarter project. When you think of a tablet stand, you probably picture a case or kickstand that props the screen up on a table for typing, movie viewing, video chats, and the like. That's the idea behind The Right Arm, a Kickstarter project that's already hit its $40,000 funding goal -- but still deserves a look.  In fact, the concept for the Right Arm was born from one of the developers' experience with back pain, to which I can relate. When you're flat on your back with limited mobility, you can't do much of anything.  But if you can have a tablet angled toward you and within easy reach, now you can check e-mail, watch a movie, or whatever. That's a big deal. The adhesive is sticky enough that the Right Arm can hold up to 4.5 pounds vertically or 15 pounds horizontally (like in a standing-desk configuration), and the pad itself has elastic straps you can apply for extra support. (Personally I'd be freaked to…

Feels like driving in the future

Driving with Navdy is a lot like using Google Glass. Similar to a heads-up display, the device projects a transparent display on your windshield to show maps, notifications and music apps. The display is designed so the content is focused out six feet in front of you so drivers can easily view the display. Navdy CTO and cofounder Karl Guttag said he doesn't believe existing in-car solutions really provide a safer solution, "It’s obvious that touchscreens and nobs and buttons all force you to take your eyes off the road," he told Mashable. "Theres a lot of opportunity to improve that whole experience and make the whole experience safer and more natural and intuitive." Although other systems, including CarPlay, include some voice control, they are primarily based on conventional dashboard input. Smart shopping in virtual store

tesco homeplus opened a virtual grocery store in a south korea subway station, where users shop by scanning QR codes on their smartphones in a campaign designed by the seoul branch of advertising agency cheil, tesco homeplus supermarket opened last fall a virtual grocery store in a south korea subway station, permitting users to shop using their smartphones. a large, wall-length billboard was installed in the station, designed to look like a series of supermarket shelves and displaying images and prices of a range of common products. each sign also includes a QR code. users scan the code of any product they would like to purchase, thereby adding it to their online shopping cart. after the web transaction is completed, the products are delivered to the user’s home within the day. the strategy makes productive use of commuters’ waiting time, while simultaneously saving shoppers time spent going to the supermarket.

Technology will save us

London-based creative studio technology will save us have developed a ‘DIY gamer kit’ for learning how to program video games using arduino and custom software. the unit takes about two hours to solder and fully assemble, complete with all the components and instructions needed to build a custom handheld game console from scratch. the design mimics the classic gaming controls of nintendo’s original game boy, equipped with a 8 x 8 LED matrix display, four buttons and a small speaker. depending on the user’s programming skill set, the kit allows you to add music to your projects, or sync up to other gamers for multi-player action. to learn more on the project, see here.
