Feel the new experience with “Music Serendipity”

"mico" frees the user from having to select songs and artists and allows users to encounter new music just by wearing the device. The mico system is made up of two parts. the mico headphone, and the mico app for iPhone. The mico headphone detects brainwaves through the sensor on your forehead. The mico app then automatically analyzes the user's condition of the brain, and searches for music that best matches from the mico music data base, and plays the selection that fits the user's status. mico provides a new experience which we call “Music Serendipity”, by detecting the users subconsciousness through their brainwaves. "mico" is short for "music inspiration from your subconsciousness". mico music database (prototype) contains 100 songs that have been “neuro-tagged” by testing several people’s brain reaction to those songs. Each song is associated to a set of characteristics modeling that song. The sensor on the forehead detects and analyzes the user brainwaves, then matches them to the closest “neural pattern” pre-recorded in the database to determine the user “neural group”. After determining the user neural group, the…

Bigger than bigger

iPhone 6 isn’t simply bigger, it’s better in every way. Larger, yet dramatically thinner. More powerful, but remarkably power efficient. With a smooth metal surface that seamlessly meets the new Retina HD display. It’s one continuous form where hardware and software function in perfect unison, creating a new generation of iPhone that’s better by any measure, with iphone 6 4.7 inches and iphone 6 plus 5.5 inches Developing an iPhone with a larger, more advanced display meant pushing the edge of design. From the seamless transition of glass and metal to the streamlined profile, every detail was carefully considered to enhance your experience. So while its display is larger, iPhone 6 feels just right. It’s one thing to make a bigger display. It’s something else entirely to make a bigger Multi‑Touch display with brilliant colors and higher contrast at even wider viewing angles. But that’s exactly what we did with the new Retina HD display.

Wouldn't it be great to answer your front door with a smartphone? That's the promise of Doorbot, a Wi-Fi-enabled doorbell that alerts you whenever someone pushes its button, sending audio and video to your smartphone. The battery-operated device installs at your threshold with four screws in a bracket. Once you've downloaded its free app and synced any iOS device or Android smartphone with it, you can see and converse with visitors at your door. The app will alert you whenever the button is pushed. There's a microphone on board the DoorBot that lets you talk with whomever's visiting you, even if you're thousands of miles away. The camera works at night, too, using infrared technology to allow a clear view of visitors even in the dark. When someone presses the button on the DoorBot, you'll receive an alert on your smartphone. If you always have your phone nearby (and who doesn't these days?), you'll be able to instantly respond to visitors, or reject them without them knowing if you're home or not. DoorBot is offered by a company called…

makes the impossible possible by effortlessly defying gravity.

Our Inspiration We started OM Audio in 2013 because we love making great personal audio hardware. After creating the award winning INEARPEACE headphones we wanted to do something different with OM/ONE. Our goal was to design a bluetooth speaker that is as iconic both in design and audio fidelity as our favorite artists and songs. We wanted to design something truly unique and magical. We hope that you’ll agree that OM/ONE meets these goals and more. Design OM/ONE makes the impossible possible by effortlessly defying gravity. It is elegant and meticulously engineered. We carefully considered every detail of OM/ONE to make it as beautiful as it is functional. OM/ONE belongs in any room on any surface. The OM/ONE orb is designed to fit comfortably in the palm of your hand and has build quality equal to the best products you already own. We hope that you will enjoy OM/ONE as much as we enjoyed developing it. OM/ONE is available in jet black, glacier white, and disco ball.

Let's hear your thoughts on this one. In the meantime, I'll be in the tub catching up on episodes of "Sherlock." (Yeah, I like long baths.)

The combination of a strong flexible arm and space-age adhesive make for one intriguing Kickstarter project. When you think of a tablet stand, you probably picture a case or kickstand that props the screen up on a table for typing, movie viewing, video chats, and the like. That's the idea behind The Right Arm, a Kickstarter project that's already hit its $40,000 funding goal -- but still deserves a look.  In fact, the concept for the Right Arm was born from one of the developers' experience with back pain, to which I can relate. When you're flat on your back with limited mobility, you can't do much of anything.  But if you can have a tablet angled toward you and within easy reach, now you can check e-mail, watch a movie, or whatever. That's a big deal. The adhesive is sticky enough that the Right Arm can hold up to 4.5 pounds vertically or 15 pounds horizontally (like in a standing-desk configuration), and the pad itself has elastic straps you can apply for extra support. (Personally I'd be freaked to…
